The AKTA has organized activities to promote the Tae-Kwon-Do Tenets and to challenge students to achieve the best of their abilities and confidence. These activities include regular Rank Promotion Tests, Black Belt Club meetings, and annual National Tae-Kwon-Do Tournaments. Every year, hundreds of best martial artists of all ages from various states, as wells as students from AKTA academies, participate in the National Tournament. Since inception, the AKTA academies have produced many World Champions in all divisions including junior, senior, men, and women divisions.
The 39th Annual National Tea Kwon Do Championship will be held on Saturday October 13, 2012 at the Kansas City, Kansas Community College, 7520 State Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. The tournament will begin at 10:30 AM. Competitor fee is $50.00. Spectator fee is $7.00. Please contact Master Mary Jane Lee at 913-631-1414 for further information.
