The AKTA has organized activities to promote the Tae-Kwon-Do Tenets and to challenge students to achieve the best of their abilities and confidence. These activities include regular Rank Promotion Tests, Black Belt Club meetings, and annual National Tae-Kwon-Do Tournaments. Every year, hundreds of best martial artists of all ages from various states, as wells as students from AKTA academies, participate in the National Tournament. Since inception, the AKTA academies have produced many World Champions in all divisions including junior, senior, men, and women divisions.
The 35th Annual 2008 National Tae Kwon Do-Karate Championship will be held on Saturday October 18, 2008 at the Kansas City, Kansas Community College, 7250 State Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Please contact Choon Lee's Academy at 913-631-1414 for any question.
